Fisher Koppenhafer has been charged with transforming the former Jacksonville greyhound racing facility on McDuff Avenue into an educational campus that will eventually serve three KIPP Jacksonville schools. Renovations are underway on the four-story building that will be used for the KIPP School Jacksonville. Formerly a clubhouse at the racing facility, the building contains approximately 170,000 square feet of space which will include classrooms, administrative offices and a cafeteria. Outside, the property's track will be used for physical education programs as well as areas that can accommodate basketball courts and playing fields. .
 







Augusta Savage Cultural Arts & Community Center

This renovation of an old African American school campus will transform the property into a 35,000 sq. ft. cultural and community arts center. The design includes a wide variety of program elements including a retail spaces, a food bank, a day care, an industrial arts educational facility, a gymnasium, a multi-purpose building and a museum dedicated to the work of the famous sculptor Augusta Savage from the Green Cove Springs area.
 





Addition to Discovery Montessori School Campus

This new administrative and multi-purpose building will be the main anchoring element on the Discovery Montessori School Campus located in Jacksonville Beach. The facility houses administrative staff, after care program, as well as a large multi-purpose space for the school. The project is currently striving for a LEED Gold rating and has the potential to be among the first LEED for Schools Building certified in the state of Florida.
